What are pupusas exactly?
A pupusa is a traditional Salvadoran dish made of a thick masa harina (cornmeal flour) stuffed with all different kinds of fillings like cheese, refried beans, chicken or pork. It’s often served with curtido (fermented cabbage slaw) and a tomato-based salsa. They have so many different food varieties! If you have never tried traditional Latin American food, this is the place to go. Sooo yummy!
